Using Gaia
Net Charger
with eduPaSS
Gaia works with the eduPaSS server
if you set it up this way:
- Leave your current proxy server (ISA 2000, ISA 2004 etc) in place
with Gaia Net Charger monitoring it.
- Connect both the eduPaSS server's network connections (orange and
green) to the internal curriculum network.
- Add a rule to your proxy server to allow traffic from the eduPaSS
server's IP address to pass through the proxy.
The eduPaSS server then connects your wireless clients to the network and
allows them to be charged for internet access through the original proxy
server.
