About Scheduled Balance Adjustments
Scheduled adjustments allow you to schedule automatic adjustments to
user or department balances on a periodic basis. You can use this feature to distribute
an allowance to users over a time period rather than initially allocating them the
whole amount. For example, you could use this option to:
- Set or add an amount each day to severely restrict printing.
- Set or add an amount each week or month.
- Use the once only option to set the print balance each term or semester.
- Zero the balance on Saturday and then set it again on Monday to disable
printing at weekends.
- Zero the balance at the end of term/semester
to disable holiday printing.
- Set the balance one day each week for a group’s IT class then clear
the balance again the next day.
