Gaia Net Charger
allows simultaneously monitoring of
Microsoft Proxy
Server 2,
Microsoft Internet Security & Acceleration (ISA) Server 2000/2004/2006 and Squid on
Linux. When a user runs out of
credit or exceeds an overdraft limit they can (optionally) be denied internet
access.

Maintain a list of
rates to charge per megabyte (MB) for all data that was sourced directly from
the Internet or from the proxy cache. Different rates can be set per network or
address, or by full or a partial URLs.

Charging Rate
Modifiers allow the rate charged to a user to be modified based on the address
of the workstation connecting to the proxy. For example, dial in users could be
charged a higher or lower rate than users on the local LAN. The Percent field
below is used as a multiplier to the rate that would normally have been charged.

For ISA 2004 proxy
server users, you can also define domains or URLs that are always allowed or
always denied regardless of the user’s balance.

Optionally define
sites that should not be accessed. Sites are identified by address, network or
location (full or partial URL). Restrictions can be made applicable to a user's
workstation address. Gaia Net Charger will log all access to these sites in the
Restricted Access Log so that you can take any action you think appropriate.

Keep abreast of
internet activity via displays, graphs and reports. Calculate your internet
costs including ISP charges.

User or Group
maintenance allow internet specific settings to be modified. Charge internet access
to the user or department, set overdraft limit and notification details. Specify
a windows group to add or remove the user from when denying them internet
access.

View full history of internet transactions,
including attributes such as the number of bytes downloaded, charge and receipt
amounts, session times, etc.
